Privacy policy.

The Abermoray Garden Collective (“we”, “us”, “our” or “AGC”) maintains this website (the “Site”) and collects and retains the personal information such as your name, contact information and other information you may provide (“Personal Information”) for the purposes explained on the Site. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use (and under what circumstances disclose) your Personal Information. If you do not wish to share your Personal Information, certain Site functions will not be available to you.   You acknowledge and agree that your only recourse if you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy is not to provide us with your Personal Information.


We collect Personal Information in order to provide you with information regarding AGC’s activities and to organize volunteer initiatives. We only collect the information that you choose to provide to us through your voluntary participation in AGC’s activities. By providing us with your Personal Information, you give AGC your express consent to contact you in the manner you indicate using the contact details that you provide only for the purpose it was collected. 


You may also choose to opt-in to promotional emails that AGC might send from time-to-time. If you decide that you no longer wish to receive promotional emails, you will have the option to opt-out using a simple ‘unsubscribe’ link provided in all promotional emails.  We do not use your Personal Information for any other purpose or disclose the Personal Information to any third party without your explicit consent.


We strive to protect your Personal Information by having in place appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard and secure the Personal Information we receive from you, including without limitation, industry standard security technologies. We are continuously utilizing security measures to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access or against loss, misuse or alteration. Despite our efforts, however, we cannot guarantee the security of any Personal Information. 


We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. The use of Personal Information we collect is always subject to the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use found on the Site (“TOU”). If we make any material changes in the way we use Personal Information, we will post a notice on the Site, but in all respects, we will only use Your Personal Information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA").  You are bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service when you use the Services (as that term is defined in the TOU) after such changes have been first posted. 


This Privacy Policy will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the Federal Laws of Canada.
